The new WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic equipment) directive has recently come into effect and states that retailers have a part to play in ensuring that appliances are disposed of in a responsible way. We are responsible for our part in developing collection facilities.

We have signed up and made a financial contribution to a national fund that facilitates new and improved WEEE collection places. If you need to dispose of an existing appliance, there is a dedicated website that will help you find your local site.
